Raglan is one of New Zealand most famous surfing spots – the black sand beaches and epic point breaks have been the focal point of more than a few surf movies, including the famous Endless Summer surf flick!
So if you’re looking to learn to surf or enjoy some waves whilst in New Zealand this beachside town on the North Island should be on your to do list.
These surf and stay packages with the crew of Mojo NZ are based at Karioi Lodge – which over looks the stunning coastline and is surrounding by beautiful New Zealand bush land.
You’ll join your experiences and certified surf instructors on the beach each morning where they’ll teach you the techniques needed to get up and riding – from popping to paddling – and you’ll be feeling the stoke in no time!
In the afternoons enjoy all the other activities around the lodge like the sauna, pool table, glow worm viewing, loop track walk, Mt Karioi hike, Bridal Veil falls or hang out on the beach before a chilled out night resting your arms or or party in ‘The Barn’ with your new surf buddies.
